Free School Meals
From September 2014, if you have a child in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 they can have a free school meal.
You can claim free school meals for your child in Years 3, 4, 5 or 6 if you are receipt of specific benefits. If you are unsure, please ask at the school office.
Parents are welcome to send packed lunches with their child/children. Please ensure that these are in a container with your child’s name on. Drinks should be in a carton or plastic container with a straw or cup. Please do not send bottles or cans. We try to encourage our children to eat a healthy diet.
Snacks for Break
Children are welcome to bring fruit or fruit bars to eat at break. The national fruit scheme operates in school. All children in Foundation Stage to Key Stage 1 are given "free fruit" each day.
Every child under the age of five is entitled to a free 189ml carton of semi-skimmed milk to drink. If your child is over the age of five, milk will cost £11 per term and should be paid on ParentPay.
